Artist's Comments

I'm in love with this shot.
I don't know, maybe it's well executed & maybe not.
What makes me love this one is, this is my very first well exposed slide. I just got it developed and scanned.
Another reason that makes me fall deeply in love with it is how much trouble I went through to shoot this un-documented valley.

Hey thanks a lot.
BTW there were two other guys who shot the same scene. But they included the sky in their frames and shot it in HDR. Didn't work out as they expected. :(
This one also didnt turn out as I expected, it turned out to be much better than I thought. lol

Thank you. :)
The velvia is known for its sensitivity to blues & greens, the blue cast you see is like a trademark of this film. (You should see its greens, WOW!).
As for the lonf exposure and its evvect on the water, I totally agree with you, I love it when I shoot water with long exposures. However, in this particular photo, I had no choice really, it was too dark and I couldn't freeze the water even if I wanted to. :)

Thanks for stopping by, sis.
and thanks for watching.

No, I didn't. Wanted to, though.
But we had like 20 minutes before sundown at the time.

Thanks for stopping by. :)
